Autobiography

My name is Brenda Falcon and I am 15 years old. My hobbies are to draw and to listen to music. I am very interested in fashion, global issues, and animals. Academically I love history and science. I think they are related to each other. My academic goals are to graduate from high school and to continue on to university. I see the world as a school because you learn everything from it. Every corner is full of knowledge that we still need to learn. I usually learn best in silence or in something that catches my attention. People have to show me how to do something because orally I don’t really learn. I learn best in both a classroom and at home because things I didn’t understand I have time to learn in silence at home.

I am so shy I hate even speaking to people I don’t know on the phone. So one day my mom told me to call 411 for the phone number to get tickets to go to Disney on Ice. I really didn’t want to do it. My mom said to do it or else we wouldn’t go and that the people don’t even know who I am. That it was just a phone call. I really wanted to get the tickets for my little sister because she loved going to see the performers. So I called and the operator gave me the number but I was so nervous I couldn’t keep up with the number. I tried again, and I finally got the number. I learned that it was okay not to get it right the first time as long as I tried there would be a second time.

The only time I took interest in international books was in Mr. Elizalde’s class. The international books I have read are mostly based during World War II. I have found myself very interested in knowing what happen inside the concentration camps without having to be in one. My goal for this semester is paying more attention to test which are a big part of my grade. To improve I must study more or at least learn how to study. I’ll probably make flashcards but most likely read everything closely so that I don’t forget anything.
